My order was chicken kebab meat and chips in tray. When ordering it said it came with salad, so didn’t order salad but when it came it didn’t have any salad! Just confusing when it clearly stated it came with salad. Also chips were not up to your usual quality, scrag ends and chewy. We do not have chippy takeaway very often but when we do it’s always from George and Helen’s so as you can imagine we were quite disappointed with our order.

Excellent as always and the in house and delivery staff are salt of the earth! Wouldn’t pick another Chippy! Also props for delivering in the snow!

The order was ready pretty well on time, and quite quickly after ordering online. The fish was good, although a little smaller than I would normally have had from our usual chippy (that is closed in Xmas week). Certainly George & Helens would be a good second choice.

Unfortunately we were not quite satisfied with our order. Fish was good but chips were all the scraggy ends!!!! We weren’t able to eat 80% of the chips. We always have our takeaway from George and Helen’s so was disappointed on this occasion, if we hadnt been busy and hungry we would have returned them!!!

After many orders delivered, today was the 1st time we have had an item missing from the order. Good job it was only a side small curry sauce or the meal could have been a real upset. Other wise not a problem will still order again.
